Moe and Liz have been friends since childhood. Liz was always thinking up new projects for the two of them and she eventually took an interest in soap making. With Moe's background in chemistry and food science, she had an inside look at the lack of government restrictions in the cosmetics industry. Moe learned about the various chemicals that made their way into our food and skin care products and knew something had to change. So the two of them joined forces, committed from the very beginning to using food-grade ingredients, free of artificial dyes and fragrances, and no synthetic preservatives. Years down the road, people are coming back to Scratch Goods, astounded by what these simple products have done for them.
